WILLIAMS GLOBAL LAW HOSTS DC CHAMBER'S INTERNATIONAL BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT COMMITTEE KICKOFF MEETING

Simone Williams, Co-Chair of the International Business Development Committee (IBDC) of the DC Chamber of Commerce recently hosted the 2026 IBDC Kickoff Meeting at the Williams Global Law offices in Washington, DC, together with Co-Chair, Henok Tesfaye.

The meeting was graced by the presence of the President of the DC Chamber of Commerce, Chinyere Hubbard underscoring the importance of the Committee’s work in positioning Washington, DC as a serious hub for international business.

The convening brought together a dynamic group of international entrepreneurs, investors, embassy representatives, development finance professionals, and advisors from industries including real estate, infrastructure, technology, trade, education, professional services, and global mobility.

Attendees engaged in meaningful discussions on market entry strategies, cross-border partnerships, and access to capital, while learning about the many benefits of IBDC membership. Through curated programming, high-level networking opportunities, and strategic convenings, the Committee provides members with a platform to grow global businesses and access new international opportunities.
