SPOTLIGHT: Simone Williams Featured as Expert Panelist at 15TH Annual IIUSA EB-5 Industry Forum

We’re proud to share that Simone Williams, Founder and Managing Attorney of Williams Global Law, was a featured speaker at the IIUSA 2025 EB-5 Industry Forum, held in Houston Texas on April 29 - 30, 2025.

Simone joined a distinguished panel on Regional Center Audits and Site Visits, where she shared legal insights and best practices for compliance under the EB-5 Reform and Integrity Act of 2022.

Invest In the USA (IIUSA) is the national membership-based not-for-profit industry trade association for the EB-5 Regional Center Program, dedicated to advocacy, education, and best practices in the EB-5 investment immigration space.

The panel—one of the most highly attended sessions of the conference—offered practical guidance on how Regional Centers can prepare for USCIS audits, ensure documentation readiness, and protect investor confidence. Simone’s remarks were praised for being clear, actionable, and deeply informed by her years of hands-on EB-5 experience representing investors, developers, and regional centers across the country.

Simone addressed key topics such as:

• What to expect in a USCIS audit or site visit

• Common red flags and how to avoid them

• How to align your operational practices with the Reform and Integrity Act

• Why having immigration counsel involved early in compliance planning is critical
