Simone Williams Joins Global Leaders during the United Nations General Assembly Week for the Global Power Forum 2025



Williams Global Law is proud to share that Simone Williams, Founding Partner, had the honor of participating as a panelist at the Global Power Forum 2025 during the United Nations General Assembly ("UNGA") week in New York City.


The event was hosted by the Center for Economic Business Development, the Global Power Women’s Conference, the International Forum on African-Caribbean Leadership, and the African Leadership Organization, with support from international sponsors and partners.



The Forum, themed “Global Power for Shared Prosperity: Women, Leadership, and Partnerships Across the Global South”, convened Heads of State, First Ladies, policymakers, business leaders, academics, and innovators from around the world to discuss building inclusive alliances for sustainable prosperity. The event also launched the Global Power Women Network (GPWN).

 

 Simone Williams joined the panel “Digital Bridges to Power: Women, Leadership, and Partnerships Across the Global South”, alongside an esteemed group of leaders and change-makers. The discussion focused on how digital transformation, cross-border investment, and legal frameworks, can empower women, strengthen leadership, and foster prosperity across the Global South. Williams Global Law was also proud to serve as an exhibitor at the event.


Keynote Speakers

The Keynote Speakers were a range of distinguished voices from the United Nations, government, academia, and global business leadership and included:

  • H.E. Sylvanie Burton, President of the Commonwealth of Dominica

The Global Power Forum underscored the importance of leveraging partnerships, technology, and innovation to tackle shared global challenges. Simone was honored to contribute to this dialogue and to represent Williams Global Law in advancing conversations on international collaboration, women’s leadership, and economic transformation.
