Simone Williams, Managing Principal of Williams Global Law PLLC, was one of the panelists of a discussion on Asian Investment into the US: What’s in Store for 2017. The discussion was held in Baker & McKenzie LLP and organized by Women’s Bar Association in Washington D.C.
Ms. Williams spoke about current policy on business immigration, compliance challenges for EB-5 investment, as well as future of EB-5 investment for Chinese investors. She particularly discussed how President-elect Donald Trump’s immigration policy would affect business immigration and EB-5 investment for Chinese business and Chinese individuals seeking to invest and relocate to their business to the U.S.
