Simone Williams serving on Gala Host Committee for the Caribbean American Heritage Awards

Simone Williams, Managing Attorney with Williams Global Law, is serving on the Gala Host Committee for the Caribbean American Heritage (CARAH) Awards. This annual event will be held on November 16, 2018 in Washington, DC at the JW Marriott Hotel, 1331 Pennsylvania Ave NW.
The CARAH Awards aims to raise the visibility of Caribbean Americans who have been successful in their field, and contributed to the American landscape. The event was created as a forum for highlighting Caribbean American’s contributions to America across all sectors of endeavor. Since its founding, the CARAH Awards, have been awarded to over fifty distinguished individuals including for example: Earl Graves Snr., Publisher of Black Enterprise, of Barbadian heritage; Rita Marley, mother of reggae legend Bob Marley; Cicely Tyson, who is of Nevisian heritage; Ambassador the Hon. Andrew Young; Congresswoman Barbara Lee; Dumas Simeus, Haitian American entrepreneur and philanthropist; and Hon. Eric Holder, Attorney General of the US, who is Barbadian heritage. The honorees of this year include an opera singer, a microbiologist, world renowned musicians, and more.
Business leaders, philanthropists, elected officials, and ambassadors will attend this celebratory evening of dinner, dancing, a silent auction and an after-hours dance party.
