December welcomes us with increased USCIS fees...
U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) increases the filing fees, which will go into effect on December 23, 2016.
As we wrote in our previous blog post, the fees will increase for the first time in six years. Applications and petitions postmarked or filed on or after December 23 must include the new fees or USCIS will reject them!
We would like to remind that the filing fee for I-526 petition will increase by 100% and the filing fee for Regional Center (I-924) petition will increase by almost 300%. Also, all approved EB-5 regional centers with a designation letter dated on or before the fiscal year ending September 30, 2015, must file Form I-924A. All I-924A's filed after December 23 will be subjected to a new fee of $3,035.
